Herein, by dual C-O bonds cleavage of cyclic ethers with Cu-catalysis led to the development of a selective three-component coupling of com. available chems., carboxylic acids, ethers, and halogens to synthesize iodoalkyl esters RC(O)OR1 [R = Ph, 2-furyl, 4-BrC6H4, etc.; R1 = (CH2)4-I, n-decyl, (CH2)5-I, etc.] in the presence of TMSCF3 was reported.
