Kriegsmann, Heinrich published the artcileSpectroscopic investigations on silicone compounds. IV. Vibrational spectra of phenylsilanes, phenylhalosilanes, and phenylhalosiloxanes, Quality Control of 312-40-3, the publication is Zeitschrift fuer Physikalische Chemie (Leipzig) (1958), 261-97, database is CAplus.
cf. C.A. 53, 2787a. Raman and infrared spectra of mols. of the type PhSiX3, Ph2SiX2, and Ph3SiX (X = H, F, Cl), and of Ph2Si(OH)2, Ph3SiOH, (Ph3Si)2O, (Ph2SiO)3, and (Ph2SiO)4 were measured and are given in graphs and tabular summaries. In the assignment of the bands, the internal oscillations of the Ph groups are easily separable from the oscillations of the rest of the mol. structure, and the valency frequencies Si-X can be assigned without difficulty. The partially occurring increase of these frequencies to values above those for the respective bands in the respective Me and H derivatives is discussed theoretically. The apparatus and methods used were the same as described in the previous publications.
Zeitschrift fuer Physikalische Chemie (Leipzig) published new progress about 312-40-3. 312-40-3 belongs to catalysis-chemistry, auxiliary class Organic Silicones, name is Difluorodiphenylsilane, and the molecular formula is C12H10F2Si, Quality Control of 312-40-3.
