Webb, Nicola J. published the artcileRhodium(III)-Catalyzed C-H Activation/Annulation with Vinyl Esters as an Acetylene Equivalent, Formula: C6H12F3NO5S, the publication is Organic Letters (2014), 16(18), 4718-4721, database is CAplus and MEDLINE.
The behavior of electron-rich alkenes in rhodium-catalyzed C-H activation/annulation reactions is investigated. Vinyl acetate emerges as a convenient acetylene equivalent, facilitating the synthesis of sixteen 3,4-unsubstituted isoquinolones, as well as select heteroaryl-fused pyridones. E.g., in presence of [Cp*RhCl2]2 and CsOAc in MeOH, reaction of 4-NCC6H4CONHOPiv with vinyl acetate gave 81% isoquinolone derivative (I). The complementary regiochem. preferences of enol ethers vs. enol esters/enamides is discussed.
Organic Letters published new progress about 1293990-73-4. 1293990-73-4 belongs to catalysis-chemistry, auxiliary class Aliphatic Chain, name is O-Pivaloylhydroxylamine trifluoromethanesulfonate, and the molecular formula is C9H10O3S, Formula: C6H12F3NO5S.
